Grammy Award–winning baritone Will Liverman and Grammy-nominated pianist Myra Huang return for a powerful program that includes American composer Robert Owens’s stirring song cycle Mortal Storm, which features settings of works by the renowned Harlem Renaissance poet Langston Hughes, and Mahler’s famous Songs of a Wayfarer, a deeply moving collection that evokes the anguish of lost love.
