SUMMER YOUNG PEOPLE’S CONCERTS

The Festival’s Summer Young People’s Concerts are a great opportunity to get kids excited about music. The free, interactive events are held during the Festival’s summer season in St. Francis Auditorium at the New Mexico Museum of Art, and this year, conductor and arts educator Oliver Prezant presents fun and friendly explorations of works by Mozart, Prokofiev, and Schumann that feature engaging performances by Festival artists Paul Huang, Orion Weiss, and the Calidore String Quartet. Each concert is immediately followed by a meet and greet with the artists.

Los Conciertos de Verano para Jóvenes del Festival son una excelente oportunidad para que los niños se entusiasmen con la música. Estos eventos interactivos y gratuitos se celebran durante la temporada de verano del Festival en el Auditorio St. Francis del Museo de Arte de Nuevo México. Este año, el director y educador artístico Oliver Prezant presenta divertidas y amenas exploraciones de obras de Mozart, Prokofiev, y Schumann, con interesantes interpretaciones de los artistas del Festival, Paul Huang, Orion Weiss y el Cuarteto de Cuerdas Calidore.
