Santa Fe Opera Music Director Harry Bicket leads an ensemble of Opera musicians in two of Bach’s orchestral suites: BWV 1067, a showpiece for the flute, and BWV 1068, famous for its gorgeous second movement, which, in various arrangements, is known as the Air on the G String. Bicket also conducts Bach’s immaculate Violin Concerto in A Minor, BWV 1041, which spotlights the Opera’s concertmaster, Nikki Chooi, in his Festival debut.
