NICOLAS NAMORADZE PIANO RECITAL

Pianist Nicolas Namoradze, winner of the 2018 Honens International Piano Competition, gives a recital featuring Ravel’s exquisitely restrained Pavane pour une infante défunte; a lesser-known and wonderfully original sonata by Beethoven; Scriabin’s seaside-inspired Sonata No. 2 in G-sharp Minor, Op. 19; and music from Ravel’s Daphnis and Chloé ballet score, which Stravinsky called “one of the most beautiful products of all French music.”
