Kevin Darrow

Oboe

Texas native Kevin Darrow performed for 12 years with the Air Force Premier Concert
Band in Washington, DC, and was a founding member of several groundbreaking
chamber music ensembles in the Mid-Atlantic and New England. He has performed as
a soloist and chamber music clinician at many distinguished colleges, universities, and
music festivals throughout the United States.

Kevin lives in Santa Fe with his partner Drew and daughter Dottie. He performs as a
freelance musician in the Mountain West and beyond. He works as a music educator
with Santa Fe Public Schools as well as with the Santa Fe Youth Symphony
Association. Kevin enjoys teaching dedicated and ambitious oboe students in his private
studio. He also holds a degree in Culinary Arts and loves experimenting in the kitchen
laboratory and cultivating kitchen gardens.
