Ashley Vandiver — Viola

Ashley Vandiver enjoys a diverse career, performing as a violist in the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and a violinist in The Santa Fe Opera. Prior to joining the TSO she was a tenured violinist in the National Arts Centre Orchestra (Ottawa, Canada). Ms. Vandiver has performed with the Washington National Opera, Canadian Opera Company, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, The Knights, and is a founding member of the chamber orchestra A Far Cry. Ashley has served on the faculties of the University of Toronto, University of Ottawa, Wellesley College, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Project STEP. She has worked extensively with Sound Impact, a collective of musicians dedicated to serving communities by empowering youth through collaborations at Title 1 schools and juvenile detention centers. She is a graduate of the New England Conservatory and received her Master of Music Degree from the Royal Conservatory in the Netherlands.
