NEW MUSIC WITH THE JACK QUARTET

The JACK Quartet—hailed by The New York Times as “fearless” and “one of contemporary music’s indispensable ensembles”—returns (after making their Festival debut in 2025) to premiere commissioned works by the two participants in the Festival’s 13th annual Young Composers String Quartet Project and to play two exciting works they commissioned for their Modern Medieval program, which explores “the connections of musicality and thought between European composers of the past and the voices of American music today.”
