Noemi Gilbert — Violin

Swedish-American violinist Noemi Gilbert has established herself as both a chamber musician and soloist, with a growing presence on international stages. From 2018 to 2022, she served as Concertmaster of the Stockholm Youth Symphony, and she is currently one of the leaders of the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra.

She has participated in prestigious programs such as the Music Masters Course Japan, the Nurmes Summer Music Festival, the Académie Festival des Arcs, and the Aspen Music Festival, where she has worked alongside distinguished artists and ensembles.

In 2023, Gilbert performed as part of Duo Mano, a violin duo that gave forty short concerts at the Stockholm Konserthus. A highlight of this residency was performing before the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra at their annual outdoor concert, attended by more than 30,000 people.

Her studies have brought her into contact with an impressive roster of mentors, including Ulla Magnusson, Julia Kretz-Larsson, Alexander Kerr, Olivier Charlier, Victoria Sayles, Maciej Rakowski, Yoko Takebe, Alf-Richard Kraggerud, and Joakim Svenheden. Currently a sophomore at Harvard College, where she is pursuing a degree in English, she continues her violin studies with Lynn Chang.
