Ivy Ross

Director of Education

Ivy Ross, Director of Education for the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, leads multiple transformative music education programs for youth from PreK to 12th grade across Northern New Mexico. A nationally recognized facilitator, musician, writer, and educator, she combines creativity, strategy, and compassion to address complex social and environmental issues. With a background in creative writing, performance, education, music, and award-winning expertise in developing innovative after-school programming, she brings a unique perspective to her work.

Prior to her role at the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, Ivy founded IvyArts, a nationally impactful initiative through which she served as a consultant, facilitator, femtor, and performing artist for organizations including the Children’s Defense Fund, Teachers & Writers Collaborative, MyMusicRX, Columbia Hospital For Women, Young Audiences, Children’s Cancer Association, and the Anti-Defamation League, and led workshops for elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide centered on creating cultures of belonging.

Locally, she contributes as a Music Teaching Artist with ArtWorks and the Santa Fe Opera, sharing her commitment to fostering creativity and collaboration. Driven by a vision for a vibrant future, she knows the transformative power of the arts to create meaningful connections and inspire growth.
