The final Saturday evening concert of the season is a true powerhouse program that features famous soloistic works by Bach and Boccherini. The evening begins with Dover Quartet cellist Camden Shaw soloing in the Italian Classical-era composer’s lyrical and lush Cello Concerto in B-flat Major followed by a performance of Bach’s immaculate Violin Concerto in A Minor, BWV 1041, with Dover Quartet first violinist Joel Link as soloist. The evening concludes with Chad Hoopes and Dover Quartet second violinist Bryan Lee playing one of the most cherished works in the entire violin repertoire: the incomparable “Bach Double.”
